Great stuff man thanks for the link! very cool fusion. Yes these places get a lot less exposure internationally they are ripe for new underground brews.. its very refreshing from the usual stuff
[/quote] Definitely - I suspect Europe & US should give way to these fresh, exciting scenes - I wanna see what they have to offer.
I really like this! The thing that stands out to me most is the progression across the track. It feels like there is several distinct sections (that all fit well together), so it keeps it interesting throughout. Good arranging.
I'd say the mix is pretty good, but the whole thing may be a tad muddy. Might be worth looking at the whole track on a spectrum analyser, and I suspect you'll see quite a lot of frequency bunching up around the 3-400 hz mark. Might be worth EQing some of the mid-range synths. That being said, the drums are super smooth, the bass is well balanced as well. Maybe the hats/high end could have a bit more sheen?
Still, really good, and I'm a big fan of all you've been posting recently

That's Life by XLN not Audio Bloom? Seen a few demos of it. Looks very interesting - just like a lot of their stuff. RC20 is awesome, and XO is also on my list to try at one point. So much to learn, so little time

You're right - changed the title now. Ha! Definitely check out Life.
Nice idea!

Here's my submission to the Hall of BANGERS. This has long been a favourite track of mine, and there's many things about it that I'd like to know how to produce.
Firstly is the sort of general squelchy, warm, bubble bath feeling that this track has. I'm not sure what it is but maybe very subtle filtering? Not sure...
Also, on the drums section you have some breaks, not too complicated, but the beats that precede the breaks (0:47-1:31) - they have a really intersting timbre and I was wondering if they are a sample, a drum machine - they just seem to sound so organic and not rigid.
I'd recommend everyone check out Skee Mask's album Compro - it's a masterpiece.
Hey all
I just saw a vid of this plugin for making breaks (which I use on almost all my tracks and it looks insane! Has anyone else used it, and if so, what was your experience?

Just downloaded - super snappy and clean. Love it, thanks!
After seeing UtobiaNZ's post in the forum about loving the Jay Pei set, it reminded me of all the great fusion music there is in the electronic world. And I know a little, which I'll share below, but I'd love to see what other stuff people like. Let's hear your stuff. I know there's a few members from South America and I imagine elsewhere s- let's hear your favourite tunes!

Yeah, I've also noticed the techno/general electronic scene in India has been getting bigger and better over the last few days. I remember when I initially saw some Boiler Room's being hosted in Delhi & Mumbai I was a little surprised, but pleasantly.
In fact, like a lot of things, I suspect that these new young, fresh regional scenes may be far more exciting and groundbreaking than Europe & the US nowadays - I imagine lots of new fusion genres and ultra-creative music will be coming out of all the places mentioned in the article!#
Not sure if you've heard of Yung Singh, check this out: insanely good set - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWZ5F00eG_k
He's British Asian so mixes a lot of Punjabi songs with Garage and House, Jungle. proper cool!
Hi
I'll be upgrading to Ableton 12 and was wondering when there will be some Ableton 12 specific courses?
Cheers!
