Looks like I'm filling in for Seppa as he's sick so is rescheduling the livestream to next week. I guess it'll be on bass processing/sound design to stay current, but if anyone has any other requests, let me know.... (not that I have any time to prepare anything now!)
Does anyone know any good books on Electronic Music, specifically genres and sub-genres? I'm not that familiar with music writers.
I'm obviously happy to do plenty more lessons on compression but you may also want to check out my Compression Fundamentals course as well... in a nutshell, Live's glue compression is a slightly gentler, more analogue compressor compared to Live's main one. It often gets better-sounding and more musical results. It's really great on buses as it's amazing for gentle compression that just helps knit everything together, hence the name!
Really enjoyed our session this week. We'll definitely do more of those! Got some interesting ideas for the next assignment too now....
Also, have a band confirmed for our next remix comp. Super fun and one of my absolute faves so very excited!!!
Have a great weekend everyone
There are also 2 free racks with these tutorials, which you can find in the downloads area - one of which is a mighty 6-band saturator, so well worth checking out!!
Great suggestion! I'm working on a really nice set of tips for processing bass to get tracks sounding really fat!
I've also spoken to Mr Maddox who's going to continue the theme in his livestream next week...
Just realised I thanked the wrong person in the Vocoder tuts that just went up! I meant to say thanks @simon-unsigned whoops! They're all good suggestions though, so I give thanks to all of you!!
