The Vocoder tutorial has really inspired me to have a go at this. Rather than work on a full track I'm going to make something more like a TV theme tune - hope that's ok?

I also uploaded the song (see post above) on Soundcloud and now somebody wants to sign the song for a label. Am I allowed to sign it while the competition is ongoing or should I wait until it's over? Then the question would be when the competition will be over?

Happy New Year! Here's my entry for the AI Apocalypse competition. Watching Rob's vocoder tutorials helped me add the finishing touches to the supplied samples - using MIDI to manipulate a vocoder wasn't something I'd tried before, but I have a feeling I may be using the technique again in future! Hope you like the track

Nice. I can't wait for the next one and what band will contribute to it. Looking forward to it.
The assignment was really fun as the Cyberpunk/AI/SciFi are my favorite. In my attempt to make it good I switched from FL Studio to Ableton, changed the instruments, effects and arrangements too many times. On monday at 5:00 in the morning I realized I will never find it good enough and I should give up trying as I will always find flaws and mistakes. I really enjoyed myself in the process and I guess this is the important part after all.
So.. I'm writing here to feel I have completed the task (even not in time).
