Love the sound selection on Slide Thru - really unique sounds I haven't heard a lot of producers use before - kudos!
Stepin is absoutely stompin, proper heavy and a dancefloor killer!
This is real nice. Love the progression of the song, keeps moving forward with new ideas. Also great production! Very nicely mixed
Thanks. It was a great way of getting music out there, without obsessing over the details too much. An exercise in finishing music!
What do you mean by the sounding 'tearing off'. Is it turning off? Or do you mean its being heavily compressed by ozone? Might be useful to know so can help
Damn! Maybe I'll take a look olnine somewhere... that does sound pretty good. These are some unique recommendations, thankyou! usually you just see people recc'ing the same old stuff. I'll check em out and get back to ya!
I'm absolutely no expert and sure I'll get roasted but;
I've had many computers over the years with many different specs (i3-i7, 8gb-32gb RAM_ and Ive found that for specifically DAW based stuff, and particularly having lots of instances of vsts on multiple tracks, that having increased RAM helped the most. I now have an i7 desktop with 32gb RAM, and its conisderably better than when I had an i7 with just 16gb ram.
As I said, im no expert, so if I'm totatlly wrong, then there you go. Just my 2 cents
Looking forward to hearing some wubz
The Ambient Century by Mark Prendergrast
Great book - makes you realise ambient has been around a lot longer than Brian Eno, and that is permeates nearly all music genres!
I don't know if anyone saw but Rob's running a 7 Day Intensive Fast Track production course, where you make a track in just 7 days! bit of a challenge compared to 35 but still worth a shot i reckon
