I'm a classically-trained electronic Music Producer and DJ with over 28 years experience in the business and I've been creating Music Production courses for ProducerTech for a number of years now. 

I also run a Mixing, Mastering and Mentoring business where I offer professional Stem Mixdowns, Mastering and Mentoring services where my goal is to maximise your potential

I've won multiple awards for my productions over the years, including a Breakspoll Award in 2011 for biggest-selling Breaks track and multiple Breaskpoll Awards. I have also managed and mentored a range of artists who I signed to my Fused & Bruised, Stereophoenix and U&A Recordings labels. I've also remixed a wide range of artists including Grandmaster Flash, Franz Ferdinand, Black Grape, Hybrid, Crystal Method and Moby.

During my time in the business my studios have ranged from 'full of analogue gear' to pretty much just an iMac and a set of speakers. I've used Cubase and ProTools at various stages in my career, but Ableton is my chosen DAW for most of my production work.

I've DJ'd at many of the world's largest festivals and most prestigious clubs, not only as Simon Shackleton but under various aliases such as Elite Force, Lunatic Calm and Zodiac Cartel. I also have several decades of experience promoting events, most notably my sold-out London Boat Parties and my One Series brand (where I would play 7 or 8 hour sets from open-to-close).

I also co-host a Zoom community conversation called 'CREATE MORE' that helps artists to overcome roadblocks - we run our free sessions on the first Friday of the month from 10am Pacific / 6pm UK time.
