Yeah was a nice stream, despite the technical issues. Good job on the sampling Paddy! Haha!
Loving all the entries!
Deadline is the end of the month, so Tuesday next week.
Welcome! There's no way to get dry versions of samples that have FX on, e.g. actually remove effects from a sample. However, if you want to search for dry samples, you can do a few things.... type 'dry' into the search box, as a lot of dry samples have 'dry' in the name. Also, try setting the stereo width attribute to 0, so you're only looking for mono samples. A lot of dry samples are mono, although not all of course. That's a couple of things to try.
2 x Tutorials on Bass Processing from Rob now in the Bonus Tutorials (mixing) section. He's looking at how to process Kick Drums in these sessions, focussing initially on the different bands of bass frequencies, sub and bass, and how to EQ them, then moving onto saturation, with a comprehensive look at series, parallel and multiband application.
Join Paul next Thursday (26th Jan) at 18.00 UK time for a member only stream looking at techniques for getting fat bass in your mix when making House & Techno (and most likely other genres too!).

This is all good stuff. Maybe it's time to do an account area refurb!
