Upgrading Laptop - what specs to go for?

Thanks for your advice - but a mini tower would probably take up too much space in a backpack right?

and this one for the heads
Andrew will always be missed! But he'll live on through these type of tributes. This has a great chugging early 90s sounds. Sounds like a combo of Joy Division, Stone Roses, with a sort of Tricky-esque Trip-hop feel. Love it! Slow burner
I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of y'alls entries... there's something so satsifying about hearing other people's interpretations of a song :D
Looking to upgrade my laptop - my previous one just died. Was wondering what people use for music production. I use a lot of quite heavy plugins like the arturia stuff and omnisphere, and quite often quite a few instances of them at once. Anyone know what minimum specs i should be looking at?
Thanks!
Hey! Love this - incredibly unique approach, and totatally suits the vibe of the track name. It has a dreamlike quality, sort of weightlessness to it that i really like. Keep it up
Yes it seemed like they listened to the backlash! The problem isn't with subscription but the fact that they tried to get previous owners to repay was ridiculous!

Hello people, this is my mix for the contest, I hope you like it. I did it fast because I have to start college next week and probably I won't have time to work on it later. See you!

[/quote] Huge fan of this, Alv! I've loved your previous remix competition entries, but this one might be my fav so far. Nice constant evolution throughtout the song
I don't know if anyone saw last week but Waves got a lot of flak for turning their service into a subscription based one and making people who already own their software have to pay again. Wondering what people think of this?
I appreciate it Better Led, for your very detailed answer!
