Hey everyone! Here are details of our latest remix comp....

REMIX EL TRAIN to WIN FANTASTIC NI PRIZES and LOTS MORE

1st Place Prizes - Maschine Mikro MK3, Komplete 13, 1 year of Loopcloud Subscription, El Train album on vinyl and Producertech Hoodie!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, the winning remix will be included on the track's EP, out next year on Shimmy Records!!

2nd and 3rd Place Prizes - Komplete 13, 1000 Loopcloud points and a Producertech Hoodie!

Use as many or as few stems as you need to create an original remix that stays true to the original, in ANY GENRE YOU LIKE.

WINNING TRACKS will be selected in a livestream by Rob Jones and El Train in February, providing live feedback on the top ten entries.

NEW ASSIGNMENT - SANTA BASSY! - POST YOUR REWORKS HERE...

A festive assignment..... we've provided stems and MIDI for part of the Xmas classic 'Santa Baby', with adjusted lyrics to become 'Santa Bassy'

Your task is to use any or all parts to create your own Xmas bootleg in WHATEVER GENRE YOU LIKE.

Make it as faithful to the original as you like and your skill level allows, e.g. very similar and using a lot of parts but maybe with some different beats OR barely recognisable with minimal stems usage and only a brief nod to the original - IT'S COMPLETELY UP TO YOU!

Get as inventive as you want with this one.... extra points for ridiculousness!!

As mentioned in last week's stream, the Singomakers DnB course is now out. It's pretty advanced stuff so be warned! You need to be proficient in Serum and be competent in audio editing and effects processing. Techniques come thick and fast with little explanation, but there's lots to learn as he's a great producer!
