im um.. not good at production or maybe music and yeah dunno how I got routed to this particular site and it’s features and it’s community - but that aside, I love music and I love music makers and I love pretending to be a not terrible maker myself.

id love to learn about Logic Pro cause I open it and then I move knobs around and then my eyes glaze over, and then I feel sad. So that’s a goal I’m setting for myself; I would like to get better at whatever Logic Pro can do.
studied music in me teens and played in punk/indie bands in 20s (I’m early 40s and I’m ok with it) but never delved into anything production wise - I know basic music theory and can read music blah blah but I’m like ET from the classic film “ET” when ET is first like waking up and trying to talk to Elliot and like ET has no idea what his human counterpart is saying and so ET is scared and just wants to go back to his spaceship - I’m like that when dudes try and “gear/music production talk “ with me. Like the words go right over my head and I’m scared and want to disappear. Like ET.
