These are phat!!! Gonna build something this evening
Thanks Rob.
For future livestreams... I'd love to know about glue compression, and when and where to use it. seems like its mega important but i'm kinda in the dark!
I've always lived by the advice of don't master in your mix project - export, then master in a new project. It ensures you are happy with your mix before mastering (in the same project, you can keep tweaking, not always a good thing). Furthermore, its a little easier on your CPU!
Hi @graham
Thanks! Those are some great tips. The random notes and arps tip is something I'd never considered before, but makes total sense.
I'll check out that youtube.
Will keep you posted when I produce something worthwhile...
How about Sub bass processing? For such an important part of a track, it would be good to know a bit more about how to get a smooth, chunky sound.
Link doesn't work unfortunately. I'm looking forward to hearing this one
Nice Jungly flavas on this one. Good start, can see this track developing into something very Metalheadz-y. Maybe keep an ey on the reverb on the main snare - seems a bit too much, could do with toning down
Very nice Manix!
Well produced and a good arrangement which keeps it interesting throughout. Reminds me of Astrixx.
Happy New Year Rob. What's everyones New Year Resolutions?
Mine is to write, produce, and release an album
