For my part I don't use full drum loop "as it is" , I use them for inspiration (for exemple to have some kind rythm while making a chord progression and/or a melody) or for mangling (most of the time).

A new remix, a new style, as usual, this time I made something really chill, an ambient track I should say...
I've used almost only sounds from the stems but a lot of them are really mangled hard, I used some techniques from Seppa's course, really inspiring one!

DAW or Software Questions
I cannot comment on logic as I don't use Mac.
I've started with Reaper, it's a really good DAW but not so beginner friendly, to use it well you have to know what you want to do and customize it. I've had a Live Lite 9 License with my keyboard so I've tried it and made the switch directly, never looked back!
I use Live for everything, I kow that some people don't like to mix & master with Live but I'm used to it and I like it and anyway I don't have the need, the time nor the money to learn another DAW... ^^
