Studio setup and sound treatment

Moved music making into a new room in the house recently and need some advice on the minimum requirements for treating the sound or the room.

Done some research and perhaps the room shape (square) is not ideal but I'm sure there are things I can do to make it sound better, and you could spend a fortune!

It's not great at the moment so looking for some ideas about what you've all done as an absolute minimum....e.g. Bass traps, accoustic panels, diffusers etc. Does it need to be floor to ceiling coverage?

Anyone want to make a track in 35 days?

A little later than anticipated but I had a go....Sorry its quite long!

Wanted to learn more about Loopcloud and trying to produce tracks in different keys to learn some music theory!

Didn't quite make it in 35 days but real life gets in the way all too often!

Thanks Rob, makes sense. Yes it was a full loop including kick, snare, hats etc. I was using Ozone Imager but had also tried adding stock echo and delay effects from Ableton. Covering in a livestream would be great. Or perhaps once I’ve worked through the courses I’ll find it! 🤣

Just about made it and could keep tweaking and tweaking. Added an extra piece in to the mix from El Train's album, hope that's ok! I had fun and learned a lot, thanks Rob for producertech!

What is the best way to mix a full stereo drum loop from Loopcloud? Struggling to get width at the high end without bringing the kick into that space too? I was wondering about duplicating the track then removing the kick completely from one track and processing that then doing the opposite for the higher frequency instruments? Surely there is an easier way.
