One for me is Paranoid London - I just like their whole ethos as well as their production style - stripped back and no frills.

I'm enjoying Rene Wise's stuff, really has a good groove going and one of the most consistent techno guys out there at the moment.

Sherelle is another super interesting producer https://soundcloud.com/iamsherelle 160 down the A406 is a future classic.

Creating drum fills

Member Content Requests

Hi Simon, there are a few bonus tutorials that include various nuggets of knowledge when it comes to drum variation. This Top Loop one is good https://community.producertech.com/ptmembership/youtube/118/member-top-loop-rack-demo-instructions

As for fills, maybe @Producertech could look into this one...

I'd really like to see some Rave-related tutorials on here, is that possible?

Why do you make music?

General Producer Chat

[quote="simon unsigned"]
For me, it all started with DJing, the buzz I got from watching a dance floor react to tracks I was choosing and playing was literally life changing. It then just seemed like a natural progression to make music for people to dance to, whether it’s simply a bootleg mash-up or original material. And I have to admit that I really like getting into the geeky/techy side of things as well, probably a bit too much as I can get a bit distracted and play around without actually being that productive.

This. I started DJing at 15 and got into making music a few years later. It all got a bit serious for a while and I lost a bit of the love when I was in my late 20's, life caught up with me! However, in my 30's I rediscovered making music for fun. That has been so important to me, a vehicle for experession without pressure!

New to Bandcamp

Let us hear you!

Awesome, I'm giving you a follow. I love Bandcamp, I actually prefer buying music direct from the artist. Most of the stuff I like is on smaller labels too so supporting them on Bandcamp Fridays always feels good :)
