Hope he kept that DX7 would be worth a couple of beans now! Amazing story super inspiring how David keeps on making music especially after the audiogram. Producertech earbuds or some kind of merch would be amazing :O! Would love to know the patch used for the bass in the Ruckspin remix, sounds like a wobbly brass synth.

Thank you for kind words... Sadly, along with my Roland 909, 101 and Akai S3200 (32mb) I sold my DX7... Oh well... To be honest, I prefer my laptop studio.
The brass type lead sound was made using the Patch 001 Arp in Sylenth. The Mod wheel controls filter cut off. Am using 'Pumper' for saturation along with 'Kickstart' for side-chain compression and normal EQ8, Reverb and Auto-filter. I can share screen shot and the complete chain with you. Hope this helps.
